THE ROSETTE STORY

Who is Rosette?

We are a team of licensed senior care professionals founded by Thérèse Farrow Southwell

Her journey into senior care began with her own personal experience, spending time as a child at the nursing home in Chester County where her father worked and eventually caring for her aging Aunt Kay as an adult. Like many in the sandwich generation, Therese struggled to find quality and loving care for her aunt, so she opted to care for her personally as long as she could in her own home, surrounded by the love of family.

When COVID hit, Therese re-evaluated her own life. She realized that time spent with her Aunt Kay was the most rewarding point in her life.

Therese is determined to recreate that experience for others looking for a familiar, family environment for their loved ones. She earned her Personal Care Home Administrator license, and studied every possible senior care living option. She found a “pod”-like concept on the West Coast that resonated with her, and realized that the Fair Housing Act made it possible in all states. She set out to find a property that would be perfect and found it in beautiful Gladwyne.

The result is Rosette, a place that feels like home because it is an actual home. In the community, connected to family and friends, familiar to mom and dad, and fully licensed. When it’s not practical or safe for your loved ones to live with family, Rosette can welcome them home into our small group

where everyone has a place at the table and a purpose in our special “family.”
