“My mother who is 93 years young has been living at Rosette for 4 months. Prior she resided at an assisted living facility  for 3 years.

During her residence at the assisted living her mobility and cognition declined significantly especially during Covid. She became less engaged in the community and was not encouraged to participate as much as she was able. Our family witnessed her lack of interest, loss of brightness and general spiraling downward both mentally and physically.

My sister heard about Rosette  prior to the opening in April, 2022. Our family agreed that we needed to reevaluate mom’s living situation. Therese and her management team visited mom. Based on their clinical and subjective evaluation, they felt she would be a good fit at Rosette. Therese encouraged family discussions and answered our abundant questions. Certainly it was anxiety producing for us to make this decision. And we were concerned about mom’s adaptation to a new environment.

Rosette’s mission of a loving  family environment, much higher staff to resident ration and the incredible passion of their mission convinced us to make the move. Communication with family is paramount. Mom transitioned very easily. Our family, from the very beginning, is  comforted by the caring  support mom receives every day.

Within a few weeks we witnessed mom’s  renewed brightness and personal engagement. She was listening and responding in a more appropriate manner. The team makes sure that she is well dressed and eats meals that she enjoys…and at the times that best fit her schedule. Mom  is cued and assisted  appropriately when she struggles with her independent attempts at activities of daily living.

Activities like chair yoga, meditation and much needed manicures enrich her life.

Mom has regained her sense of dignity. She is in awe of her lovely surroundings. Little things like a bird feeder in her line of site while dining gives great pleasure. Mom is now reminded about her children’s birthdays and mails birthday cards with assistance. This attention to details are unique to the senior living we have experienced.

Our family is forever grateful to Rosette.

With warmest wishes,

 Sherrie Bitterman RN, MBA

The care, attention and personal interaction with the residents is second to none at Rosette.

Our parents moved to an assisted living facility, but our mother was never the same after our father passed and she deteriorated quickly there. She was cared for but that’s about it. The light activities and personal attention at Rosette have encouraged her to get moving as best as she can and she has even been able to take some steps which she has not done in a few years. One of the young ladies there prays with her in the mornings and it means so much to mom. As her children, we know she is in the best hands. The people at Rosette treat her and us like family and it’s a very inviting and personal atmosphere.
